City lichen

I got my hands on an old book that contained hundreds of pictures of lichens. I examined the book's pages, revealing the most magical patterns. There was an immense amount of repetition in the shapes and colors of the lichens. Finding the book was the initial spark for the "City Lichens" painting series, in which the slow-growing lichen chooses the bustling city as its habitat.

The artwork is painted using mixed media on stretched canvas. The artwork has been custom-framed by a carpenter. The oak frame is included in the price. The artwork is ready to hang.
