Diatom II

We breathe air produced by diatoms. Diatoms form the base of the food chain in marine ecosystems. These microscopic organisms support the entire food chain, on which we ourselves depend on. Diatoms not only feed the organisms in waterways, seas, and lakes, but also produce up to 30% of the Earth's oxygen.
